Redefining Hi-Fi Components

Montebello, CA — December 9, 2011 — TEAC America, a subsidiary of the premiere Japanese electronics manufacturer, has announced the launching of the Reference 01 series of Hi-Fi components. This new Reference series consists of UD-H01 Universal DAC, A-H01 Stereo amplifier and DS-H01 Docking station for Apple iOS products.

The TEAC UD-H01 universal USB Audio DAC with built-in 32 bit/192kHz dual Burr Brown D/A converters can be connected to almost every source imaginable, including the ability to stream audio via a USB cable from a computer through a stereo system. One of the unique features of this D/A converter is the inclusion of a stereo headphone amp with a separate volume control. Sampling rates can be up converted to as high as 192 kHz as designated on the front panel for high-resolution playback from a PC or other sources.

The TEAC A-H01 stereo amplifier with built in 32 bit Burr Brown DACs and 50 watts per channel of power is an USB audio interface for high-resolution audio files stored in your computer, compatible with both PC and Macintosh.

The last, but not the least is the exciting DS H01 Docking Station for Apple products. One of the unique features of this new model is the ability to strip the digital information from an iPod, iPhone, or iPad and bypass the DAC converters that are in those products, but then use the DAC converters that are built into our product for amazing audio playback. There are also video outputs and a USB input for PC streaming making this a truly diverse product.

“We are excited about introducing the new Reference 01 series. From the stylish design to the premium sounds these units deliver, they are sure to be our new flagship products for the TEAC Americaʼs Consumer Electronics Division. “ said Paul Jenkins, Senior Vice President of TEAC America.

The Reference 01 series will be available in both silver and black. The UD-H01 universal DAC is available now and AH-01 and DS-H01 will be available shortly.
