CD-P1260 OVERVIEW
The affordable CD-P1260 reflects TEAC's history of great-sounding CD players. It plays standard CDs as well as MP3 discs, allowing hours of playback from a single disc. The front panel buttons navigate through subfolders to find your music. Music is converted through a rich-sounding 1-bit D/A converter with 8 times oversampling. Discs are clamped onto a center-mounted drive mechanism for minimal vibration, reducing jitter distortion for clearer sound. A full-featured wireless remote control is provided. For great-sounding, reliable CD playback on any budget, TEAC's CD-P1260 is the natural choice.

- MP3 file playback
- The CD-P1260 can play back MP3 files recorded to CD-R/RW discs, displaying data like artist, album, and track title. It is also capable of playing back discs with folder configurations. Search mode makes it easier to select a track with discs containing numerous tracks. (Supports single-byte alphanumeric characters only.)
- Various playback modes
- Program playback (up to 64 tracks), shuffle playback, repeat playback (single/all/programmed tracks), intro playback (plays back the first 10 seconds of each track)
- Center mechanism construction
- The mechanical drive is center-mounted to balance the unit's weight and minimize vibration and resonance during playback.
- Anti-skip function (ESP function)
- The CD-P1260 includes an ESP (Electronic Shock Protection) function to prevent skipping due to vibrations. The system reads ahead and caches data to prevent playback interruptions
